Matthew McConaughey’s Tuna Salad Sandwich

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
- 1/2 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon italian dressing
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickle
- 1/3 cup jalapeño, crispy chips
- 1/4 cup chopped apple
- 1/2 cup corn kernel, frozen
- 1/2 cup peas, frozen
- 10 ounces tuna packed in olive oil, drained
- 6 slices bread, high quality toasted
- Green leaf lettuce for making lettuce wraps
Directions
- Stir mayonnaise together with vinegar, lemon juice, wasabi, and Italian dressing in a medium bowl until combined.
- Add in onion, pickles, jalapeño chips, apple, corn, and peas, and stir.
- Fold in the tuna until well combined.
- Build sandwiches with good quality bread and green leaf lettuce.
